Indeed, it can be difficult to resist a beautiful shoe or a bag of big brands or a trendy phone and many other whims. Before giving in to temptation, you must think twice about the risk of deciding you may regret. If you have made the decision to save money, and you are having trouble doing so, there are a few principles that will make it easier for you.

Start by setting up a savings routine every day

Going back to childhood to save your money is interesting! It is advisable to take a piggy bank or jar to slip your savings into it. If you want, you can buy 12, one for each month. You don’t have to set aside a large amount of money every day. First, you need to know exactly how much money you need for your daily expenses with some extra if necessary. Drawing up a shopping list will greatly help you to establish the necessary budget every day. Then, every morning, you must bring this amount with you. And when the day is over, you can put everything you have left in your piggy bank. And even if you only have €1 left, slip it in anyway. After one year, the accumulated amount will be about 400€ if you save 1€ per day.

Avoid unnecessary expenses!

Never forget that saving money is winning! As a result, you must make some sacrifices by putting aside your whims. In this case, you must ban unnecessary products that are not necessary for you (soft drinks, beer, cigarettes…). And why not participate in the “no buy” challenge? This challenge aims to complete the products before you can buy more: shampoo, make-up, perfume, care products… If you can meet this challenge, in a few months, you can save considerable sums. In addition, it is also possible to bring your lunchbox to work instead of going to the restaurant every lunchtime. Cook because homemade meals are much cheaper than those offered in restaurants or fast food restaurants.

Think about your energy and water consumption

Apart from everything else mentioned above, it is also possible to save money by limiting your home’s energy bill as much as possible. To achieve this, it is recommended to install a thermostat to regulate the temperature of your rooms, to favour low-energy bulbs, to choose low-temperature machines. In addition to the energy bill, there is also the water consumption that you must control as much as possible.
